You may argue that the system is not as compact as some of its rivals, using three separate units and you'd be correct. You may also point out the build-quality, though fine, falls short of that of the Jamo.
However, no body can successfully argue against the Monitor Audio i-Deck's amazing sound-per-pound value for money. Though this system is not perfect - it can sound a touch ragged and unbridled - but it's darn close.
Choose any musical genre, place those speakers apart to improve the stereo effect, and the result is tremendous. Detail and pace are delivered with aplomb, while tunes race along with infectious energy and plenty of enjoyment.
Now available in black as well as silver, and having benefited from a £50 cut price, Monitor Audio's i-Deck remains leader of the pack when it comes to the iPod docks.
